My journey has been anything but linear. I began with an undergraduate degree in Architecture and later transitioned into Information Systems and Data Science, earning my master’s degree from Syracuse University. That shift allowed me to combine two sides of myself: the creativity and problem-solving mindset of a designer with the analytical and technical skills of a data professional.

Growing up in a small city in India and becoming a first-generation international student taught me what it feels like to be underexposed and underestimated. Rather than holding me back, those experiences strengthened my determination to create opportunities for myself. One of the values that has guided me throughout this journey is truthfulness. I believe in being honest about what I know, what I do not know, and what it takes to grow.

Professionally, I have five years of experience across data science and analytics, working in industries including logistics, banking, finance, and pharmaceuticals. I enjoy transforming complex and unstructured data into actionable insights, whether that involves building predictive models, evaluating experiments, developing analytical systems, or applying natural language processing to real-world problems.

My path has never been limited to one discipline. During the pandemic, I explored entrepreneurship by starting my own bakery and grew its customer base by 40% in just three months. The experience strengthened not only my baking skills, but also my abilities in customer management, operations, decision-making, and business growth.

Outside of work, I find my creative energy through dancing, painting, baking, organizing, working out, and traveling. I also enjoy meeting new people and learning from their experiences. During quieter moments, I make a conscious effort to read more, particularly books that explore human behavior, personal growth, and the way people make decisions.

What sets me apart is the combination of creativity, technical expertise, and business thinking that I bring to my work. My journey reflects adaptability, curiosity, and the determination to keep moving forward—even when the path is uncertain. My personal motto captures that mindset best: “Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

I am currently exploring opportunities in data science and analytics where I can use data to solve meaningful problems, influence decisions, and build solutions that create measurable business impact.
